China General Machinery Industry Association further promotes the localization of low-temperature device pump valves

With the development of China"s coal chemical and natural gas liquefaction industries, the localization of key equipment required is gradually deepening. Although the 100000 cubic meter air separation unit has been successfully used in Shenhua Ningxia Coal, a large number of low-temperature pump and valve products supporting large-scale air separation units and LNG have still been imported for a long time. To this end, the China General Machinery Industry Association held a seminar in Beijing on November 17th, inviting relevant leaders and experts from Hangzhou Oxygen Group Company and Sichuan Air Separation Group Company to introduce the market demand and technical requirements for pump valves in air separation plants and natural gas liquefaction plants, and to discuss with the technical leaders of pump valve enterprises attending the meeting.

After introduction and discussion, representatives attending the meeting unanimously agreed that after nearly 30 years of development, especially the promotion of domestic production of major equipment such as nuclear power, long-distance pipelines, and ultra supercritical thermal power units, China"s pump valve industry has made leapfrog progress in recent years, possessing the ability to undertake research and development of pump valves for air separation units and natural gas liquefaction units, as well as the ability to supply products.

The meeting was chaired by Huang Li, President of the China General Machinery Industry Association. Sui Yongbin, Honorary President of the China General Machinery Industry Association, Song Yinli, Deputy Secretary General and Secretary General of the Valve Branch of the China General Machinery Industry Association, and Xu Jianping, Deputy Secretary General and Secretary General of the Gas Separation Equipment Branch of the China General Machinery Industry Association attended the meeting. Yang Tiecheng, Director of the Major Affairs Office of the China Machinery Industry Federation, was invited to attend the meeting.

During the meeting summary, Chairman Huang pointed out that Hangyang and Chuankong play an important role in the localization of air separation equipment, and have also fulfilled their mission and made outstanding contributions in the localization process of natural gas liquefaction devices. This time, introducing the demand and technical requirements for pump valves in air separation units and natural gas liquefaction units for pump valve enterprises will have a positive impact on the localization of pump valves. At the same time, it is pointed out that the pump valve market is very large, and whether the order can be obtained depends on the technical level and supporting capacity of the pump valve enterprise itself; The pump valve products of air separation units and natural gas liquefaction units have technical difficulties, but mainly depend on the efforts of the pump valve industry; It is recommended that capable pump and valve enterprises, air separation equipment manufacturing enterprises, relevant design institutes, and users jointly develop high-end pump and valve products for air separation devices and natural gas liquefaction devices, develop prototypes, and organize new product appraisal in conjunction with user units.

President Huang Li clearly stated that the China General Machinery Industry Association is currently working to promote the localization of pump valve products for air separation units and natural gas liquefaction units. President Huang is in charge, while Honorary President Sui Yongbin serves as the general consultant. Secretary General Song Yinli and Secretary General Xu Jianping are specifically responsible for liaison and coordination, formulating a localization plan as soon as possible, and carrying out the localization work of low-temperature device pump valves in a planned and step-by-step manner.
